E-Verify enables employers to verify employment eligibility of all their newly hired employees, regardless of citizenship. E-verify provides an automated link to Department of Homeland Security and Social Security databases to help employers determine employment eligibility of new hires and the validity of their Social Security numbers.
Please be assured that Employment 2000 is taking a pro-active position on this issue. Currently, E-Verify has not been made mandatory by the Federal or State government. However, as of April 1, 2008 Employment 2000 is on the E-verify system and all new hires will be run through this system before being sent on a job.
This ensures that our employees are legal and eligible for work status.
